FIA President Max Mosley announced today that he’s certain he knows the identity of the man behind the sex scandal that nearly cost him his job, and made a mockery of the head of motorsports' most prestigious governing body.

Last year the News of the World published details of Mosley’s own private life that put him on trial with his employer, the FIA. Now he’s ready to point fingers and expose the man who was behind the scheme to uncover his secret lifestyle. “It was that idiot that puts on those crapcan races in the United States, Jay Lamm.” Mosley announced today in a press conference in at the World Motorsport Convention. “He did it in a bid to collapse the FIA, and replace F1 with clunker races, and he also specifically engineered it so he could create a penalty in my name for the 24 Hours of LeMons racing series that involved drivers being paddled by women in police hats, and then having a spot of tea when it was all over.”

Gridcrasher hasn’t been able to reach Mr. Lamm for comment, but an unnamed associate told us he was far too busy trying to bailout the ‘Big Three’ automakers with a plan to buy excess new inventory for $500 per car.
