Ecurie Ecrappe - The Final Hours of Prep

Friday, October 6th - 3:45pm. AVS has already installed the wheel bearings, shocks and struts, brake rotors, pads, switched the fluid, and swapped the coolant for water earlier in the week. A few more items remain on the list.

Ron changes the belts.

Eddie Delgado, the Owner of AVS gets under the hood of the Ecrappe Racer. He's about to find a completely worn shift ball at 6:23pm on Friday. He quickly called another shop, located the part, and sent me after it in his own car.

Shift ball replacement.

Our AVS Crew Eddie and Ron at 8:00pm Friday night. Thanks guys!

Back at the Ecurie Ecrappe Garage after yet another illegal tag-expired drive and brake bedding run, CK applies the finishing touches on the driver roster and city flags.

Nick works on the number circles, Jeff works on attempting to fabricate brake ducts, and Pete rolls in to apply Yokohama decals. In the meantime, Craig is out on the other side of the Bay securing BARS leak radiator fixing goop in case of radiator leaks or punctures.

At nearly midnight, the AVS logos are sprayed, and it's time to test our refueling strategy.

At 7:00pm, while we were still at AVS, our YOKOHAMA Tires (Sponsored by YOKOHAMA) arrived.

It was an early morning for Nick, who watched the sun rise over GOMEZ Tire and Service Center as he had the tires mounted at 6:30 am Saturday..

Let's Get out there and qualify
