For Immediate Release

SWOW.com announces the closing of it's Day Trading division, and the "his and hers boxed watch set" division.

Watches from the Wah Lap precision time company are on final closeout discount status.

(Los Gatos, CA - January 23, 2002) It is with much sadness and a heavy heart that SWOW today officially announces the closure of it's day trading operations. Due to current market activities and the lack of certain direction we feel the risks greatly outweighs the rewards.

"I just don't want to get up at 5:30am anymore" stated $$$$$$$$$, "It interrupts my sleeping patterns and does not allow enough time for playing Grand Theft Auto 3 and general leisure activities". The 1999 IPO boom was a huge success for the SWOW trading team. Those days, however, are long gone and the current conditions are not favorable to Mr. $$$$$$$'s trading style. That, coupled with ongoing financial losses in the market, has let to the conclusion that "you gotta know when to fold em" We will revisit this venture as the economic climate improves.

On an unrelated note, SWOW is also announcing the permanent closure of it's watch wholesale/retail division. The Baby-G gravy train has been ridden to a dead end and the His & Hers watch division is not making sufficient profits to warrant ongoing operations. The search for the next "product" is currently under way.

Sincerely,

$erg $$$$$$$ Director of Operations, SWOW
