Nathiswaya and former Formula One World Champion Jacques Villeneuve hope to put a new Formula One team on the grid next year. Announcements should be made in the near future. The cars will use an overstock of AMC V-8's from the defunct Bricklin factory in Saint John Canada. Chassis development is currently underway in Nathiswaya's shop in Mooresville North Carolina. Sir Frank Williams may be involved, treating the Nathiswaya Formula One team as his own junior team, like Red Bull with the renamed Minardi squad. |

Bernie Ecclestone hasn't denied Nathiswaya Formula One a spot on the grid. He remains skeptical of the AMC engine, with it's 5,000 rpm maximum - as the other teams should be approaching 20,000 with their 2006 spec engines. Nathiswaya's cars, made from wrecked NASCAR NEXTEL CUP chassis may also have a slight power-to-weight disadvantage as well. At least the five lug wheels shouldn't be a problem if the current no-tire-change rule remains in place. Nathiswaya is convinced that reliability and durability will allow his cars to bash their way to victory. |
