That dark spot is dog pee. As we headed inland from Cambria, we came upon a gentleman with a horse on the right side of the road. His dog, "Tucker" came up to the car as we rolled up, and peed on the door. The man yelled at Tucker, but the dog just kind of smiled. I think Tucker greets all oddball cars with waive of his rear leg.

On the way home we spotted these VW transporters headed north after what looked like a SOTO meet at the flea market grounds off of 101. Super wacky and cool!
