Dear Mr. James:
I have received your letter of October 28th and the accompanying drawing. The wheel pictured appears to be well suited to my use. I assume that the type 42 shell shown is one that fits the hubs on my car, which is a stock MG TC. Please order five of these wheels for me, with a size 4.00X16 rim, as shown on your drawings. Your code x450 D seems to be the correct wheel, but if these are not available for some reason, code x450C will do.
I would appreciate it if you could advise me of the approximate delivery date, within a few weeks or so. My car has been sitting on blocks while our correspondence has been going on, and has begun returning to the elements. I have some work to do on it to put it back in shape to be driven, and would like to schedule this so that its completion coincides as closely as possible with the arrival of the wheels. Thank you for your efforts in my behalf.
