MG

1955 MGTF 1500 -
this predates autoscene- this car was a 1 owner 30k? mile car (before we got it)- sold to Switzerland - I'm probably 12 years old in this photo (jeff - passenger side)

1973 MGB - 1st car - Jeff - KLLRBE license plate. Details

1977 MGB -
Owner - Jeff - bought purely for resale - was not the best candidate.....

ready for respray
After paint and headaches - this was the car that I took the bumpers off, had Troy hit the light switch, and was run over when the car cranked the starter (in gear)with the headlights....

1948 MGTC
Key Features - Car was raced in the late 50's and has an X - member in the frame, Alfin aluminum brakes, has been autocrossed and rallyed and is still with us..... (owner-S.G.)
Read about it at 1948MGTC.com

1967 MGB
Owner - Jeff
This was another project that looked easy - but after much thought - it was better to pass on..... The parts were deceivingly nice looking, but the body shell was not so great. I sold this one in pieces and came out better than even...

1952 Basket Case MGTD
This car was the first attempt at the faspec style vintage car with a sleeper motor - it was fitted with a Volvo engine/trans. It was in the back of a guy's shop who restored Packards. We found huge rust in the frame which proved prohibitive to restoration.
The plan was to drop a Coworth Ford motor or a formula ford engine into the car, but there were tin cans holding the car together..... I zip tied the bodywork to the car and it was sold..... (owner - S.G.)

1952 MGTD V8
Same concept as above, with a 350 Chevy, and vintage race looks.... This is currently in progress - It was acquired with centerline mags and cartoon looks. The photo was taken after the 72 spoke wire wheels were laced up, but the rear end had yet to be narrowed. The seats have been replaced with Austin Healey seats. Much fabrication is underway with Joe Casanova in San Jose. (owner - S.G.)
When the car is done, it should look something like the FASPEC TD - a well known vintage race TD. ( I think it will run with the sides of the bonnet on it however to hide the V8 monster engine.)

1966 MGB
Recently acquired. Beautifully restored MGB. Near perfect body, cosmetically great, 15" Panasports; but the car had never been driven post restoration. Crossflow aluminum head, webers, 5spd transmission and more.
Sorted and sold

1954 MG TF 1500
Acquired June 13th 2002 by Jeff. One owner car, stored since 1972. No rust, never been hit. Always in the Bay Area. Really nice original car. I immediately dissasembled the car and started the process of bringing it back to life.... Frame off restoration took six intesive months.
