Further to our letter of 3rd July, we have now received a reply from our English Associates on this question.
According to records in England, the 1948 MG TC fitted wire wheels 2.50-19, code X287.A which were knock-on spline fitting type and fitted 4.50-19 covers and tubes but your inquiry is for 16" wheels.
Would you please let us know what size tire you wish to use on this car so that I can look into the matter further
