Geb Masterson's 550 cleaned the splines right off of the left rear drum on Highway One. Unfortunately this was the end of Masterson's Iron Bottom. Just before the incident while gassing-up in Cambria Geb met a Porsche fanatic that happened to own the local motel. A quick call to him while watching the cows and waiting for a tow yielded the contact information for a local VW/Porsche mechanic, and a discount room. The motel owner rolled out in his new 911 to pick him up. The 550 was fixed by 3:30 the next day, and headed back home under its own power.
