On the Road 8. Saturday. The Return

Headed back on Saturday. After sampling the bar scene in Paso Robles Friday evening, we chose not to roll out with Ed at the crack of dawn. We caught lunch in Santa Margarita. (Not at the above tire /gas shop)

THE ISO CHRONICLES:

Rory's Iso continued to soldier on, despite punching the left rear shock through the top of the shock mount late Thursday afternoon. Solution: Remove part making noise. "It really doesn't handle all that bad without it - with the exception of a little more wallowing at the right front corner." Friday was eventful with two fuel miscalculations. The Pontiac Grandville served as a refueling tanker. On Saturday, the throwout bearing began to howl.
